Hi there, first post on the forums.

I started ESO from the initial release on PC although never played it that often because I didn’t have time. I then started again on release of the xbox one but again stopped playing. I have now came back and I have been grinding for the last few weeks, I started a stamblade although I feel completely useless with this guy. I’m going to keep him and level him up for PvP but I want (need) a new class for PvE content.

I preferably want a magic based class, with the main focus on DPS but the ability to heal small dungeons or self healing for myself. I also want someone to run around in robes and have awesome looking light armour for this class. (I later will make a DK/Temp Tank) I read that sorcs are currently very strong for DPS, how is their healing (self/team?) for dungeons. I would want to DPS for trials etc, but to do the daily dungeons for levelling etc I’d love to be able to heal.

    Any help would be awesome.

    Thanks

    Loop

    EDIT: Also what race?

An altme magicka sorc should suit you fine. Everything is in Flux right now with the impending morrowind update, so things are changing fast. Just keep that in mind.

You could also go for mag templar… will serve you well in pvp using a heavy armor dps build OR a blazing shield health stacking build… really nice flexibility there… then you can run standard healer OR healtank OR mag dps build in pve… magplar: everything you want in a class.

but keep your eye out for warden coming up… could be good stuff.

I am intending on levelling my stamblade regardless, I really love that class for everything else. I really enjoy the thieves guild, brotherhood and stealing stuff. Which when I’m fully medium armour and nightblade makes it enjoyable for me.

My favourite thing to do on MMOs is the PvP but I just need to grind it hardcore solo and I’m hating the fact that my sustain is a bit “meh” and I’m not seeing any big crit numbers to make up for the fact I die very fast. I don’t currently have vigor and since getting rally it seems slightly better, but in dungeons I’m essentially useless.

I actually rerolled a sorc, and will probably go magsorc as I rolled them as a high elf. I’m only level 10, but the burst is insane. Currently running a destro staff, when I hit 15 I’ll get in a resto staff and use those for the near future. Waiting on morrowwind and just want a class where I can hit 50 without having huge timers for dungeons and then being useless in them. I feel magsorc could be good in PvP too.

I play a lot with my brother who is a templar healtank kind of play style. I actually love the animations of the Templars but I tend to want to build them for tanks and I really want a magic user/standard caster.

One of the reasons for this is because I’m waiting on the warden, I’m going to make him my heavy armour DPS/Tank kind of guy.
