Heyo there Tamriel Foundry, I have a few suggestions for the website that would overall help everyone!

    1. Skill calculator

    2. Tamriel Foundry’s own wiki on items ingame/and skills/abilities

    3. Linked into Tamriel Trade Centre for item prices!

    4. New player help forms

    5. Guild trader help forms to know more about them

Also, as I was just editing my Personal Biblo, the Warden class hasn’t been added yet.

Before you farm or buy anything and invest your time, use this site for theorycrafting as the stats are “fairly” accurate. There is nothing like it that I’ve found.

    http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Special:EsoBuildEditor

This will give you a lot of info about the game regarding race, class, skills, equipment, crafting, etc.

This site is just awesome! Live map where chests have spawned, pin point locations of treasure map dig sites (need the map first), location of all wayshrines, delves, public dungeons, skyshards, lorebooks, etc. Just click on the zone you are located and zoom in.

For everything else, there’s YouTube! :D

Thank you for your kind suggestion, I will try and address them point by point.

    1. UESP has a comprehensive calculator and skill browser, which you can find from the following links.

    http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Special:EsoBuildEditor

    http://esoitem.uesp.net/viewSkills.php

You can find the finer details like skill coefficients and ability IDs there as well.

If you are interested in the skill mechanics of ESO, they are also explained in many threads on Tamriel Foundry – some specific to certain class/build, but others are a bit more general, e.g.

    http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/introduction-to-pve-damage-calculation-homestead/

The use of targeted or keyword search is generally much more useful than a broad search on a database or calculator, because it provides you with filtered information that is generally effective and valid; this is conductive to a positive experience, especially for newer players.

    2. Similarly, UESP also has a comprehensive database of in-game and mined items.

    http://esoitem.uesp.net/itemSearch.php

It makes little sense to carry out duplicate projects, but you could always contribute to the compilation as an UESP editor on their website.

Tamriel Foundry primarily functions as a hub for theorycrafting and game mechanics discussion, as such many users have already got a baseline understanding of the mechanics (class, skill options) and are looking for ways to improve their gameplay. Having a comprehensive repository is a bit redundant.

But just for discussion, hypothetically, what is the scope of items and skills would you propose to incorporate into a wiki?

    3. Tamriel Foundry is not affiliated with Tamriel Trade Centre and its creator. As this forum primarily serves to facilitate discussion of game mechanics, theorycrafting and strategies, I would not expect any functional integration between the site and trade-related addons.

    4. You have already found some of the threads like this.

    http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/general-tips-for-new-or-returning-players/

There is an abundance of information that a new player could find, through generic search engines or through dedicated searching algorithm (whichever is your forte). It is difficult to predict what kind of information a new player would want, what they think is relevant to whatever they are trying to achieve and the kind of information delivery method and strategy. To this end, there are New/Returning Player threads as well as the Simple Question/Answer thread (c.f. link below) that users can use to ask general questions, and the Class Discussion (c.f. link below) for the class/build/setup-specific questions.

    http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/simple-questions-simple-answers-thread-viii/

    http://tamrielfoundry.com/forum/classes/class-discussion/

If you are knowledgeable about certain facets of the game or have conducted empirical testing on game mechanics and/or builds, feel free to respond to other users’ queries or to start a discussion thread in the appropriate sub-forum.

    5. Similarly to some of the previous points, there is already an abundance of information elsewhere on the Internet on the role, usage and the bidding mechanics of Guild Traders in ESO, e.g.

    https://elderscrollsonline.info/guides/trading-and-auctioning-in-eso

I hope that addressed some of your queries. As it stands, the capacity and options on Tamriel Foundry are sufficient for the usage of many of its users, and are conductive to the forum’s overarching purpose. But your suggestions will definitely be considered in the event of any future functionality update.
