    Hello all,

If this noob question was asked before I apologize but I can’t find it anywhere,….

Question: With a Clannfear summoned, how to do enable or activate the healing that the spell says he can do? I noticed an icon above it changing, but I can’t figure out how to activate it.

    Hi everybody.

Is there a class that requires less attention/precision than the others?

I don’t want to play with my eyes closed, but I would like to know if there is a character that doesn’t require
a continuous “control” of the situation, a character who is still standing even though a couple of (or more than two)
    parades/dodges gone wrong..

Even if this is a Noob Request :))

I’m searching for a “simple” class (even if “simple” is not the correct term), a class for those who
don’t follow/study in depth the game mechanics.

In short (and if it’s possible), something like “a good result with a little effort”..

    Thanks for any advices.

Eh.  Not really.  Maybe a magicka templar dps spamming sweeps…  But even then in order to be successful in groups you have to know your timers and keep your buffs and DOTs up 100% of the time in an efficient manner.  There are really only 8 dps combos class + stam/mag specs and it is the same for all of them.  If you are just soloing do whatever; but i dont know why youd play an mmo if you dont want to group or pvp.  But if you are lazy you will be a group favorite no matter what you play as…

Im theorycrafting a new build for the upcomming patch. Im thinking about using the new 5 piece pelina’s attitude set. Im wondering how will repentance and the burning light passive gonna work with it since they both scale off of your highest stat. Given that both will be the same value with the new set.

If anybody could ask in the official forums I’d apreciate it since I dont have access to it right now. Thanks beforehand!

Hey everyone, sorry this is kind of a long question but I’m stuck right now. So I’ve been running an altmer sorcerer for a while now and I’m currently vr 14. I just completed cadwells gold and want to move on to craglorn. Now up until this point i have never had a problem with dying too easily and could usually handle up to 5 or 6 mobs of my same level no problem. When i went to craglorn i took some quests in the area and set out for the nearest one. The first group of mobs i came across utterly destroyed me. It seems like there are more mobs than normal though and maybe craglorn is more of a group questing zone? But either way I’m 3 levels above them and feel like i should be able to at least survive for more than a few seconds. The skills my character had throughout the majority of leveling were: 1) summon unstable clanfear. 2) summon twilight tormentor. 3) hardened ward. 4) Crystal fragments. 5) mages wrath. I didn’t use my 2nd bar or an ultimate ability. I had no need to i got by fine without them. So since then I’ve been experimenting with different builds and have since tried to utilize my second ability bar but it seems like no matter what i try i keep getting destroyed by these mobs 3 levels below me. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good build at this point? I mainly want to focus on pve.

Repentance only scales with the highest between max stamina and max magicka, so the 5p effect from the set doesn’t affect it.

For Burning Light, if spell damage is the same as weapon damage, then does it matter which one it scales off? I would think that it will still run off your highest native stat, so if your weapon damage is lower than spell damage without the set, then Burning Light will run off spell damage.

You will need to make some drastic changes to your skill setup and combat rotations if you want to tackle contents from here on, including group dungeons and trials. Have you tried looking in the Sorc theorycrafting sub-forums for tested builds on effective PvE? The glaring problem from your first bar is the lack of a good single target skill, decent AoE and the absence of an ultimate, so you will struggle outside of any single-player quest content. Have a read through the pages in the aforementioned sub-forum and see what tends to work and the kind of stats and buffs to gear towards.

    PvE magicka templar question:

Dark Flare: is it viable as a spam options vs Jabs?

or is it only used in PvP?

Dark flare is a single target channel; solar barrage is an instant cast aoe similar to elemental ring from destro line but with empower.  The defile debuff (dark flare) is pretty useless outside of pvp.

I think your best bet is still sweeps for single target damage, layered with DOTs.  Solar barrage effectively gives you the ability to run dw for an aoe bar for more damage and destro for single target weaving, wall of elements and elemental drain.

Reason for my question is... i'd like a darker shade of horse, but it's roughly 50% of my overall money. I'd bite my behind, if i learn later, i need ton's of money for something that is actually very beneficial for development of character.

@falcon Drop some real life $$$ and just buy a mount you like from crown store.  Save your gold for expanding inventory, bank storage and for endgame gear/materials.  Like $5-10 gets you 1-2 mounts on store.  Riding lizards, lion, panther, nightmare horse, frost horse, bear… Or just other normal horses to your taste.

    Hi everybody.

Can I ask for a little advice on two Templar Builds I found?

    – First build I found (it says “the typical healer of Tamriel”) suggests to use two Resto Staff.

    – Second build I found suggests “Duel Wield – Swords” as primary choice and “Resto Staff” as secondary choice.

To be honest, I thought that a Templar used a mix of weapons (swords, two handed weapons, etc.) and magic… But the First build considers the use of only resto staffs…

Any advices? Or the two builds are both playable?

    Many thanks.

Not sure which builds you are talking about – are they on foundry?  Also, any class can spec to magicka or stamina and take advantage of the appropriate weapons.  You vhoose the weapon that adds the most value to your role in a group (if you are a healer, most people run destro + resto… Resto/resto seems a waste considering you can bar swap at any time).  Look at the passives in the skill lines and the attribute cost of the skills it offers…  If you are a healer you arent using bow, 2h, dw or 1hs skills… People on templars use dw only for the “twin blade and blunt” passive, the increased weapon damage and an additionL set bonus.  None of this is new – check out the templar theorycrafting forum on foundry and read through the threads (not just the first post) to see what people are saying.  You will learn a lot, and you will get answers.

    Hi.

Why there is no statistics system like in skyrim, where you can see your quests, kills, items stolen etc? I’ve done 1000/1000 quests achievement and i can’t see how many quests i have done past 1000 and i would like to see that. Is there any hope that in future there would be update to change this?

Magicka templar leveling question (lv35 and onward):

    – is Blazing Spear considered a good/wise choice for AoE? Why? It seams to me that Reflective light / Blockade & jabs are better / faster (reflective light is faster, but only 3 targets). When solo PvE Reflective light seams enough: cast it 3-4 times and the group dies. In dungeons where more that 3 mobs need killing, would Blazing spear & blockade + jabs be a better alternative?

    – I’m vamp and I am having trouble soloing map bosses that use spells: what can I do against them? Would Eclipse work? or maybe Javelin (what is the knock-back cooldown?)

    – I did a bit of testing vs trolls and similar monsters, and Dark Flare seams really good vs one target (5-6k damage per jabs set and 5-6k damage per dark flare cast). It’s true that it does not heal, but in dungeons I think it would be a good choice versus some bosses…

    Thank you.

Try total dark morph of eclipse on enemy casters along with blazing shield and purifying light.  Blazing spear is good for a ranged stun, or you can use toppling charge on bosses for the single target stun and gap closer to start your jabs spam.  Group dungeon bosses you really want all the DOTs you can layer before you get in close and spam your jabs.  I like vampires bane for that along with blockade.
