To avoid a thousand little threads that can be resolved with one post and source link, let’s just throw every question might you have in this thread and keep the forums clean for actual dicussions.

    How to use this thread:

    1. Try Google, Tamriel Foundry’s search function or have a look at our Development FAQ before you ask a question. Check the frequently asked questions further down as well. Otherwise we’ll have to answer the same question every other page.
    2. Answer other people’s question only if you you know the answer. Wrong or unclear answers will be removed. Try to provide a source.
    3. This is not a thread for discussion or smalltalk. Anything that isn’t a question, an answer or the opening post will be removed.

    Blue:

Put 30 points into The Ritual asap to unlock that 12% wpn crit passive bonus. Mighty, Precise and Piercing are all good.

    Green:

Mooncalf and Warlord. I prefer to focus Warlord because cost reduction is better than stam regen unless u got tonnes of cost reduction already.

    Red:

Nothing so obvious here and depends on what you do. Elemental Defender is a good idea if you are a vampire though.

Old thread is closed so I guess I should ask here then. Where do I see these names? All I see is Thief, Warrior & Mage influence!

And one more thing. Apparently I can’t teleport to other players in different maps until I finish Caldwells mission. Currently it want’s me to do Aldmeri maps. Now does this mean I need to explore everything, do all quests etc..?

Comet does more dmg but doesn’t give ultimate back, shooting star does less dmg but gives ulti back. I’ve seen mostly sorcs using ice comet & rest of classes meteor trash in order to kill it fast & get ulti back.

In each one thief warrior mage, you have 3 sub categories whose name if I’m correct u see on the bottom. It’s best to put points on Mighty 1 on precise and 1 in piercing.

As for your question: No, you only need to do the main story line, in this webby:

http://www.votf.net/topic/249-votf-ebonheart-grind-levelling-3-vr10/ <= Here you will see the locations of the  main quests (I think it’s red circles can’t see webby from work) for each map. You know you have accepted the quest when your Caldwell’s Almanac’s lines change from being fully greyed to light grey (closer to white), when you finish them they will go full white & have a check box next to them.

If you’re asking if you can get enough skillpoints to max out two crafting works and still have enough for your character/weapon skills, then the answer is yes. I currently have Crafting/Rune/Clothier/HeavyArmor/woodworking maxed out with points in almost all of them (except keen eye) and still have enough skillpoints for my skills/weapons.

There are 250+ skill points, I personally have points in all crafting and I still manage to do well in my role. And I have unlocked werewolf which costs a lot of skill points. But two crafting should be more than easy to have.

Is it practical for PvE or has anyone done just basic skill trees such as racial, armour, weapon, and world, like would be done in Skyrim? Does a class -have- to be followed?

First, your character does have a class. Period.

Second, it is likely that you will want to have more than zero class skills on your skill bar(s). This is particularly true while you are low level, as you won’t have access to many skills of other kinds until you’ve gone up some levels.

Third, you will likely want to put some skill points into passive class skills as well.

    3 questions:

    1. I really enjoy exploring the world and slowly leveling up through quests. Unfortunately – for me, at least – I’m levelling too fast.  I’ve started ignoring the mages’ guild, fighters’ guild and main quest – for now at least.
What I want to know is – is there a level when I will have risen too high and will automatically fail any of them – say when I hit level 50? Or can I leave them till I’m good and ready, like a vet, say?

    2. what happens regards leveling skills above level 50? I’m exploring 3 weapon trees: bow, 2H and DW. If I don’t get one of those weapons above skill level 35 – but I decide its the one I want to focus on at vet – will the weapon keep leveling as I use it, above level 50, and providing I save skill points will I be able to unlock and morph its weapon powers as I continue to progress?

3 – there doesn’t happen to be a difficulty setting does there -where I can LOWER the experience I’m receiving- I’ve looked but I can’t find one (I know, most people want to speed their leveling, I just like to take thigns slowly)?

    Thanks for any answers.

You’re never locked out of a quest due to being high level. You might not get as much experience. The mobs you kill might not give experience or loot. But you can always do the quest.

Also, quests are scaled to your level more than they used to be. I’ll let somebody else give specifics on that.

As for leveling active skills, class skill lines, weapon skill lines and armor skill lines — that works post-VR1 exactly as it did before.

Do Divines on multiple armor stack? (Ex; 5.5 +5.5 + 5.5 = 16.5% from three  pieces of worn armor)
