Do you think it’s worthwhile to use molten over say noxious if I’m playing a khajit and typically heavy attack 2x on the dual wield bar just to sustain? What is your reasoning for only using one heavy attack with the availability of the sustain and damage it can offer?

I prefer use molten armaments and 3-4 heavy atacks per rotation. In my tests on the 25 million dumy you need at least 3 heavy atacks per rotation to sustain your stamina, molten armaments helps with that heavy atacks and gives you some sustain. In most trial encounters you will need to block or roll dodge, so having a build that can barely kill a 3 milion target dumy is not gonna work, thats why i do all my tests on the robust skelleton.

I have noxious sloted, its a good skill on aoe situation.

    This is a real fight:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HFl8POR4lg

You can see how demanding is the fight for my stamina pool and how 3 or 4 heavy atacks are required in the rotation to barely sustain.

Hey thanks for the reply! Extra love the video too. I’ll have to try my luck on the 6m target. I’m honestly apprehensive about taking off vigor though. I’ve never played without it and not having it scares me tbh. Do you only take it off for certain bosses or what?

    Vigor does no dps :p

Seriously speaking, if your healers are good you dont need vigor at all, only keep blade cloak up at all times. I reactivate it each rotation so im sure of it, the skill is not a dps lose anyway.

If you really want vigor, i would remove noxious breath.

Not sure if I misunderstood what you’re saying. Are you saying stam is bis or referring to twice fang? Sorry I’m dyslexic and got confused lol

Yea that’s what I hear. On console it’s hard enough to find people to run trials with and most of them don’t like having stam in group. But I pull better numbers on stam dk then I do my mag sorc using 5 vo and 5 nmg or spriggans. I ran normal sanctum earlier and got 2 divine piece and a random gave me 2 infused. If I can get group together for vet this weekend I can try for jewelry to mix match with the vo I already have. Thanks for your hard work and responding to people. That goes for most of the people here on forums. As a console player I have to rely on you guys for information. I’m looking into getting pc but cash is tight for one game lol.

I hope you guys get addons, then  you will see that in raids you are easily over 17% group dps as stam

I believe it just from doing dungeons vdsa or target dummy’s. I can tell I’m stronger on stam I’m general. But seems like people on console only want mag sorcs. With pets. And I don’t like pet build at all. I’m still using bsw on my bc I don’t wanna farm mag sets lol.

Thank you very much for all your hard work, it’s a huge contribution to the eso community. I wanted to ask you though, can you please explain the reasoning behind Trap is in the front bar and why it’s important to be applied before all dots of the bow bar?

    Sure:) There are several reasons:

    1. Trap has a 1.5 second delay in activation so when you place it down and then  go to your bow bar, it does not start ticking until that 1.5 seconds pass. This delay allows you to use your next ability without the target taking any damage and thus giving you a nice burst. Additionally it is a good idea to start with trap so that all of your subsequent damage takes advantage of the critical damage increase that trap provides.

    2. Being a Fighter’s guild ability, Trap provides a 3% increase to weapon damage on the bar where it is slotted. Since the dualwield bar has more weapon damage than the bow bar, it is more advantageous to slot trap on the front bar.

Not much will change…I plan on rocking TFS/VO/Sunder/NMG/Hundings depending on group needs. Shadow stone will be the stone to go to tho most likely.
