Did you get a chance to revisit the drawing board?

I made that comment after Torug’s was confirmed nerfed, the rest of the content following the HoTR PTS was all visiting of the drawing board ;)

That will not over penetrating ^^

You can adjust your CPs to get the correct penetration :)

Greetings i have been reading the build, it looks interesting but i could find nothing about passives, are those no longer important for builds? If they still are which should i take?

It should go without saying that you need to buy all the passives for the skill lines that you use, restoring light are kinda optional since you kinda only use repentance

Buy all the passives. If they could be remotely useful, take them. Prioritize the ones from your class lines, weapon lines, and armor passives. Those are essential.

Hey hey! So since everyone is searching for the BiS enchant and trait for the vMA bow for CWC I decided to chime in again and share what I believe is the absolute BiS for the Bow bar.

Double Ravage Health poisons IX (Nightshade + Felshy Larvae + Nirnroot). They do 2.5k DPS. So in the following parses you only see the DPS of one of the DoTs (Creeping Ravage Health) which does 1.5k DPS. The other one does less DPS and is down lower on the page. So the other DoT (IIRC its called Ravage Health) does 800-1000 DPS. So in total that’s roughy 2-2.5k DPS.

Now the parses to prove I’m not making this up (Stamblade not Stamplar, but this applies to all classes anyway):

    https://imgur.com/ki67oeI

    ^ 49k VO + TFS

    https://imgur.com/dO6PEMF

    ^ 49.6k WM + TFS

The traits are in the image descriptions. I’ve done some extensive testing on the 3mil dummies and the best front bar traits are still the same as last patch: Infused + Precise for pen capped situations, Infused + Sharp for non pen capped situations.

I’ve tested all the enchants for the Bow (Disease, Poison, Berserker) with Infused, Nirnhoned and Sharpened, and none came even close to the DPS output of the poisons. So for the Bow traits since Infused doesn’t buff poisons, its Nirnhoned for pen cap situations and Sharp for non pen capped situations.

Obviously, I had a full on dummy humping setup: Lover, TFS, War Machine or VO, Kra’gh… So I was almost pen capped (when I’m on bow bar I’m missing 1.4k since I used Nirnhoned).

So on classes with more DoT damage, the poisons are going to be even stronger. I would definitely like to test the front bar traits for DoT oriented classes (aka everything but Stamblade) as I think that Nirnhoned may outperform Infused since the Poison enchant will be doing less damage due to less points in Master at Arms.

PS: by the way, would you mind if I jumped into a few of your guys’ runs of Asylum? :D Still playing PTS on a Macbook Pro but luckily scores don’t really matter there!

I haven’t even touched the bow traits yet as I’m still trying to get asylum dual wield to hit over 32k lol the rotations are so messy with power of the light it’s just not gonna work I think.

that being said once people realise how powerful these poisons are they will sky rocket in price so that’s always a negative that I dont really want. I was gonna go explore how much extra berserker uptime you get with an infused bow and maybe a different enchantment on my off hand dual wield.

I’ve been busy a lot recently and haven’t organised anything to do with the new trial yet but if we do end up going I’ll shoot you an invite mate :)

OH GOD! Those Asylum weapons… I gave up after about 2 hours of trying to make those work lol

I can save you the time of testing that stuff, below are my average results:

Infused main hand Poison/Sharp off hand Berserker/Infused bow Poison = 60% uptime on Berserker (basically the “normal” config)

Infused main hand Poison/Sharp off hand Berserker/Infused bow Berserker = up to 95% uptime on Berserker

Infused main hand Poison/Sharp off hand Berserker/Nirn bow Berserker = 50% uptime because back bar Berserker cooldown overrides the front bar reduced cooldown (yep Infused main hand still affects both enchants).

Infused main hand Poison/Sharp off hand Disease/Infused bow Berserker = 40% uptime on Berserker. On Stamplar this will be lower due to only 3 skills being cast on bow bar the majority of the time (vs 4-5 skills on Stamblade).

Well, it doesn’t really matter if they skyrocket in prices, the mats are extremely common, I personally have over 10k of each. Plus there are a few possible variants of this poison since Nirnroot can be replaced by literally any other reagent that has Ravage Health (and there are a lot). Farming 100k Tel Var will net you about 600-800 of those mats each, which is really only about 30 mins worth tops. Alkahest is also dirt cheap and very common so that’s not a problem. If anything, its the mats that will go up in prices, but since those are very easy to get, I think the prices will quickly calm down due to lack of demand… Just my thoughts on this matter lol (I am definitely hoping that prices will go up though, cause I’m gonna make a fortune).

Sweet thanks a lot man :)
