The light of Morrowind will burn eternal.

“House Redoran prizes the virtues of duty, gravity, and piety. Duty is to one’s own honor, and to one’s family and clan. Gravity is the essential seriousness of life. Life is hard, and events must be judged, endured, and reflected upon with due care and earnestness. Piety is respect for the gods, and the virtues they represent. A light, careless life is not worth living. “We are the honorable house, our acts are judged not only by ourselves but by our house, our ancestors, and Almsivi. Murder is not our way, we do not live a life of simplicity and ease. When the steeled army of Cyrodiil marches at us we shall   push them back, and with our resolve and solemn duty persevere.”

The Great House Redoran is a roleplaying, social, and crafting guild. Founded by experienced MMORPG gamers and seasoned roleplayers. We are currently looking for active members to help us gain a foothold during TESO launch.  House Redoran has a mandatory forum and a VoIP (Raidcall). If you do not wish to spend time creating a character sheet or communicating with guildies, this guild is not for you. If you wish to join House Redoran, Apply here with your TESO character sheet, upon approval navigate yourself to The Great Hall and join the “Initiation Roleplay” If you succeed, welcome to The Great House Redoran.

These are the ranks obtainable, with the latter ones being given in cases of integrity and service.

A Few Rules/points:

We are equal opportunity, so long as you are knowledgeable, friendly, respectful, and know what you are doing, you will rise pretty fast in the guild. Mind you we can’t make everyone Councilors (we follow the House Redoran rank system of the third Elder Scrolls game, Morrowind) but rank is more a formality and we respect all intelligent voices equally. A point on gaming, as mentioned by Cael in the description, we DO NOT murder. We may be a PVP guild, but not in the fashion some would expect. We do things honorably, if someone attacks you then by all means defend yourself, if someone wrongs you though, not through action but by word then you are to challenge them. Yes, as in a duel. It seems silly to some, and some people won’t like it. If you don’t, don’t join, we do not condone murdering, and if you do we will put out a writ of execution on you and make damned sure our honor is restored. Of course, if you didn’t mean to kill someone and you explain yourself with a good enough case, then we’ll pardon you. We may be tough, but we’re far from heartless. This whole thing follows the roleplay format of the guild, not only in how we talk in-game and in the forums, but also in our deeds and actions in-game and in-roleplay. When you roleplay a character we expect that character in-game too (for guild chats out of character {ooc} obviously be yourself, casual play, the same), we’ll have days where it is like ‘to hell with this, let’s just enjoy ourselves’ and we only keep to the basic rules (like not murdering), roleplaying can be tedious and chances are I myself need a break myself from it. I write for a living in real life, so generally I’m going full bore on creative things before in-game time and such.

Another in-game point: Vampirism. Far as I know it will be part of the game, but we do not condone vampires -inside- the guild, we’re devout followers of the Tribunal, after all. If you get it for some reason or another you need to get rid of it. We’ll be more than glad to help you, hell, we’ll make a team and MAKE DAMNED SURE you do what you need to do to get cured. We’ll go the the depths of Red Mountain if need be. We’re a family, it is the least we can do. Now, of course, if you choose to stay a vampire then we can’t let you stick around. Nothing against you, but, that is one of the sticking points of our roleplay format with this. We won’t hunt you down if you do, unless, again stressing the honor portion, you do something bad. Then we will, and you will die, sooner or later.

A personal point: I am a Morrowind nut, I grew up playing it since it came out, I still have it on my laptop, I read the books from in-game on my laptop, I follow a poetry thread on here that I post to on occasion with my own Dunmer poetry. I can be a bit overbearing with it, so, bear with me please? I can be a bit ocd when it comes to lore specific things. Names and such, not a big issue, but specifics like spelling and things like that (such as Almalexia and Vivec and Mournhold and yada yada) I can grind people for. I posted a link on the guild forums to a resource, I truly hope you use it for lore things and the like.
