Let me tell you this some day you will be that cold and in the midst of battle consume the hearts of our enemies, Swift and ruthless you shall exercise your restraint. The time will come when the name Pfeil will echoe through the mountains and plain, all will know your name.

I was thinking why some people spend so much time and energy with Lore. I had a few ideas in mind, but I consider one of them to be my case. I have a busy life my friends, work, Law School, family (yes I’m married), sports/health, friends, this things pretty much get me busy all the time, with a few precious hours left for my favorite game and series: TES. Before being so busy I was able to play WoW, SWTOR, Starcraft 2, Batman (Arkham series), Magic the Gathering, and to follow as a real hardcore fan Star Wars. After careful consideration and lots of decisions I came to the inevitable point when I had to decide on how to better spend my time (you know we’ll all die one day, and today we have fewer days  than yesterday) so I better use my time damn well.

To really have fun with something, I have to interact with it, I have to make decisions, to be the hero on story. That’s why video games are my favorite kind of entertainment. So I considered what was the best game I ever experienced, and TES was in the first place without dispute. I really follow every piece of information as I can, purchase items related to the band and so on, because it’s the only option my time allows me to have.

Don’t get me wrong, I love many other things, movies being one of them, but TES is my lifelong love. I guess that’s pretty much my reason for giving a damn about the lore in TES.

    Awesome Podcast as always!!!

I think mixing and matching light, medium, heavy armour will be more effective than you guys make it sound, especially with enchanting and smithing trades. Heavy armour enchanted with additional magicka or faster magicka regeneration stats on it, might be possible.

Very good podcast, thanks for producing it.

I do agree with @GhostsStep on this…I think that yeah for a straight up magic user using cloth will make the most sense. But it depends on how you wanna play. For someone who wants the largest magicka pool they can get and only ever use magic and spells, a cloth would make a lot of sense. But for someone who wants to mix up their play style (especially when making some form of hybrid) or depending on how someone spends their skill points, I think you can mix and match your armour types while still being effective. There may be min/maxing of some form, but IMO I think there’s too many optioto say a certain min/max set is the most effective.

Some interesting discussion, 100 man puzzles would be quite the challenge but I’m sure it would be nothing short of hilarious

Here here. I agree, I am also a student (But in history instead) and have a job, I like to go out, go to the gym etc. So I don’t have as much time as i’d like to play video games. But like you said TES gives you such immersion and that is why I love games with good lore and back stories. It gives you more depth to the game, rather than mindlessly swinging your sword at some draugr because they are there.
