Ever since the announcement of The Elder Scrolls Online back in May, I’ve been closely following the development of ESO and have become increasingly more excited for the game as time goes on. There are many things that make me excited for The Elder Scrolls Online; I mean, what’s not to love about an MMO set in the Elder Scroll universe? Since the release of our Misconceptions of The Elder Scrolls Online video, I’ve been going through a couple ideas for new videos to release. I settled upon making a video about my top 8 reasons why I’m excited for The Elder Scrolls Online. Hopefully it will get fans even more hyped up for ESO, and spark interest in those with doubts. I hope you guys enjoy the video, and if you do don’t be afraid to hit the subscribe button!
Oh, and I chose eight reasons because there are only eight Divines in ESO. Clever huh?

Great video, as always! So well put together & composed! Hopefully, the information in the coming months will give us way more than 8 reasons to be excited about ESO – I can’t wait until these videos start being about things we haven’t all heard about. But you still present it in a way that makes it sound exciting again – especially when talking about flaming boulders flying through the air haha!
Of those 8, the thing I’m most excited about is probably the hubless questing. Finally, something that won’t be super familiar and quickly boring. Also extremely excited about synergies and massive PVP, of course!

Thanks for the nice video Blade, but if it wasn’t for the ‘Tamriel Foundry’ mark at the start, I would have thought it was a promotion video from Zenimax studios itself. Most (if not all) arguments you bring up state they will add something special to the game, and that it definitely will work out. I personally miss a few skeptical remarks about what the studio promises (I don’t know how much time you’ve spend in the game itself though, so you might be able to confirm it all to the fullest).
About the content itself: I find myself in most points indeed and I’m looking forward to it, if they implement it well. Only the separation of PvE and PvP gear troubles me a bit. I’ve mainly played World of Warcraft, where your items changed the power of your character in such a degree that two tiers (PvE) or seasons (PvP) pretty much doubled your strength. As a heavy PvEer, I just bought my PvP gear with PvE points and facerolled lesser geared PvPers even though I had almost no PvP skill at all. I can only assume how frustrating it must be when you can’t take someone down who is clearly clueless, just because he got PvP gear from doing everything else but PvP.

I am so glad that there is no separation between PVP and PVE gear. It gets frustrating not only having to carry around all that extra gear but having to devote a bunch of time to two specific things. Also, I hope that this elimination will help players with true PVP skill to really shine and not be utterly dependent on items over skills.
