Misconceptions Regarding ESO

We are excited to share the first of many videos from Tamriel Foundry delving into the mechanics of Elder Scrolls Online. These videos will eventually consist of boss strategies, pvp tactics, class guides, and more; however, our first video is designed to clarify some of the misconceptions that frequently circulate regarding The Elder Scrolls Online. We hope you enjoy the video, and would be interested to hear your feedback in the comment section below.

Nicely done. This will certainly clear up a lot of uncertainties amongst members who aren’t as well versed in knowledge about ESO or were misinformed from other sites. This will certainly be a neat and useful tool for ESO fans to take advantage of until ZOS consolidates some sort of fact sheet on the official site, assuming they attempt to address this issue. Clearly, they will more than likely not be able to clarify everything considering how huge and complex the game is. I look forward to see what aspects of ESO you tackle in the future.

Locking targets and removing the need to use reticle would give you the usual mmorpg combat. Reticle aiming to hit is key to skyrim combat, and they have said nothing that reticle wouldn’t be needed to hit target.

Nicely done guys! I look forward to future videos from you guys. It’s interesting how long it took me to find out all the information you just summed up in a short video. It should be very useful for some people.

    The first thing I learned:

I’ve been pronouncing Atropos’s name incorrectly.

Great video though! I’m sure uncertain people can learn something!

Auriel’s voice hews out flames of fire, rends mountains asunder and shatters rock. His bow is fire and His arrows flames. His spear is a torch, His shield are the clouds, and His sword the lightning.

He will lead the Pure across the Heartlands and lead Tamriel into a new Aldmeris.

Honestly @Caracala, you were probably correct. I deliberately “mispronounce” Atropos to make it sound more like a MMO appropriate name. The technical pronunciation (at least when it comes to the Greek fate) is something like “a-tro-poss”, but that sounds kinda lame. I thought that “a-tro-pose” rings a bit better, at least in my mind! I don’t take offense from any varieties of pronunciation, though.

The reticle is needed to hit the target, but you wouldn’t have to (for example) lead a moving target when casting a fireball. Rather, you would target your desired enemy with the reticle, and your fireball would have some degree of “homing” that would cause it to hit.

Well, this video certainly answers quite a few questions I had!  Nicely done, Atropos & Blade!
